5 Weeks

Tomorrow officially marks five weeks until graduation! I cannot be more ready. A few days ago I picked up my honors stole and got word that my gown had shipped. Last night Matt and I started stuffing my graduation announcements to send out. My mom and a friend of hers designed them!

(This one is a little easier to see)

Funny story, it says I'm going to the University of Columbia, which I'm not-- I'm not that smart everyone! But I will be entering a program in Clinical Psychology for my PhD at the University of Missouri COLUMBIA! I also have to thank my wonderful boyfriend for lending out his photography services to get these nice shots for me. Check out his website if you get a chance!

In the next 5 weeks I still feel like there is so much to get done. I have FOUR research conference presentations coming up, including one in Denver next weekend; I am starting to work around 25 hours a week; I need to get the paper and writeup for my research finished; I have to help the students I'm supervising complete their posters; I have 3 exams left, one presentation, and numerous assignments. All that in addition to the "training" I'm doing right now for my next race. Surprisingly, my stress level is nowhere near the level it might have been a year ago.

I know all I have to do is keep my head up and push through these next weeks. I'm trying to remind myself to enjoy my last few weeks as an undergraduate, as I know graduate work is going to be a whole new challenge on it's own.

Have a wonderful day!
