101 in 1001

I'm sure the majority of you have seen the 101 in 1001 goal list floating around. For those of you that have not, it's a list of 101 goals for 1001 days. I started this a while back and have completed quite a few things, but I wanted to get it up here in order to keep me accountable. At the end of this month, I will set some goals for May!


Start: December 3, 2013
End: August 30, 2016

      For others: 
1.     Make care packages for the homeless to keep in my car. (December, 2013)
2.     Volunteer at a soup kitchen. 
3.     Buy a stranger coffee. (December, 2013; Starbucks gift card on Instagram bought 5+ strangers coffee!)
4.     Clean out my closet and donate the clothes.  
5.     Take a meal to a family that just had a baby. (December, 2013)
6.     Babysit a friends baby for free so they can have a date night. 
7.     Provide Christmas for a family in need.
8.     Send flowers to a friend. (March, 2014)
9.     Send out 101 letters snail mail style. (6/101)
10. Send a random care package to a friend.
11. Rescue a dog.
12. Invest in a friend's dream.
13. Serve the homeless on a holiday.
14. Sponsor a child.
15. Have someone over for a meal once a month.

For My Faith:
16. Read the entire bible and journal through it.
17. Become more comfortable with praying out loud.
18. Begin a prayer journal to track prayer requests.
19. Find a mentor.
20. Reread Captivating.
21.  Memorize 10 bible verses.
22.  Pray passionately and meaningfully every day.

For the Home:
23. Finish decorating.
24. Make holiday goodies for our neighbors. (December, 2013)
25. Start our garden. (March, 2014)
26. Build a chicken coop and raise baby chickens.
27. Have overnight guests visit. (January, 2014)
28. Host a wedding shower.
29. Host a baby shower.
30. Host a game night.
31. Have a bonfire party in the back yard.
32.  Have a picnic party in the back yard.
33.  Create a cleaning schedule. (December, 2013)
34.  Finish our wall cross gallery wall.
35.  Paint a room together.
36.  Purchase a new TV together. (December, 2013 we received one as a gift from Ms parents!)

For My Marriage:
37. Celebrate our wedding with a content and faithful heart.
38. Do premarital counseling. (March, 2014)
39. Write vows and have them framed in our home.
40. Do the Love Dare again.
41. Have a one year anniversary photo shoot.
42. Celebrate our one year anniversary.
43. Have a homemade pizza date night. (February, 2014)
44. Make a photo book of our honeymoon.
45. Plan a romantic weekend trip and surprise M.
46. Cook dinner every night for a month. 
47. Finish decorating our bedroom.
48. Meal plan for the entire month. (December, 2013 forward)
49. Print and display our Instagram pictures.
50. Hang a map to pin places we've traveled.
51. Work on a budget that combines both of our salaries. (December, 2013)
52. Go on one date night a month.
53. Write a letter for our 5, 10, 15, 20 year anniversary.
54. Get a couples massage.
55. Make a wedding album.
56. Plan a romantic date for M. 
57. Host both of our parents at the same time and cook a big meal.
58. Have boudoir photos done.
59. Support M going back to school and/or starting photography full time.

Adventures:
60. Go camping.
61. Go to Chicago
62. Visit Brie and Beau in Louisville.
63. Visit Cassie and Peter in Greenville and see Charlotte.
64. Go to a food truck park.
65. Go zip-lining.
66. Visit 5 new cities. (0/5)
67. Get another tattoo.
68. Spend a week at the beach.
69. Go to another country. 
70. Mow the grass.
71. Go to New Orleans.
72. Take a cooking lesson.
73. Take dance lessons.
74. Go to the mountains and stay in a cabin.
75. Start our own family Christmas traditions.
76. Stay at a bed and breakfast.
77. Go on a trip with friends.
78. Have dessert before dinner at a restaurant. 
79. Ride in a hot air balloon.
80.  Learn how to tie a tie.

For My Personal Goals: 
81. Do an Olympic triathlon.
82. Take vitamins daily.
83. Start flossing daily.
84. Say yes more.
85. Write in a journal once a week.
86. Graduate with my Masters degree
87. Be social media free for an entire day.
88. Be social media free for an entire weekend. (January, 2014)
89. Be social media free for an entire week.
90. Learn how to shoot and second-shoot a wedding with Matt.
91. Have 2 publications, one being first author.
92. Read 101 books (2/101).

Future Baby B:
93. Collect 101 books for Babys Bs library. (0/101) 
94. Tell M hes going to be a daddy in a fun and creative way!
95. Have a gender reveal party.
96. Announce our pregnancy on social media.   
97. Have our birth filmed.
98. Get maternity photos taken.
99. Choose God parents.
100.Start a college fund. 
101.Turn our office into a nursery.
