Taking Stock / 02

M and I are traveling to California today for his grandfather's memorial. You can expect me to be absent on this little space until Tuesday. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Making: Lot of good meals from the veggies in our garden! We have a ton of zucchini right now!
Cooking: Summer dishes! The other night we had a summer shrimp and tomato salad that was AMAZING.
Drinking: All the alcohol left over from the wedding (at least trying to)
Reading: "Don't Waste your Life"
Wanting: A day of rest- things have been so crazy since the wedding and I just feel like we haven't really been able to slow down.
Looking: towards our honeymoon in a few weeks to keep me going through all of the craziness!
Playing: Lots of Bon Iver Pandora.
Wasting: away trying to get my thesis proposal finished up so I can propose before the end of summer!
Sewing: GUYS. I SEWED A BUTTON ON TO M'S PANTS THE OTHER DAY. MOVING UP IN THE WORLD! Let's see if it stays.
Wishing: for a safe weekend of travels.
Enjoying: being married.
Waiting: on our new bedroom set to get here! Hurry up West Elm!
Liking: this weather. Highs in the 70s in July?! Don't I live in the Midwest?
Wondering: when I will be able to slow down from the chaos of life.
Loving: blogging friendships that keep me going
Hoping: we can get a fence built soon so we can get a dog!
Marveling: at the fact that my in-laws are moving to Vermont next month!
Needing: some quality time with my husband.
Smelling: the fresh air because it is nice enough to leave the windows open!
Wearing: lots of biking gear, we have really been getting out there a lot
Following: far too many blogs, as usual.
Noticing: how much better I have been sleeping at night since the wedding is over
Knowing: God is always with me even when I feel stagnant
Thinking: about all the food I am going to eat on our honeymoon
Feeling: exhausted
Bookmarking: My photographer's website so I can STALK her blog to see when our sneak peak of wedding photos goes up!
Opening: Lots of Target packages lately- wedding gift cards rock!
Giggling: at GOMI. yikes.
