February Goals

Starting out February with an upper respiratory infection wasn't exactly how I planned for things to go... so this month's goals are coming at you a little late. Praise the Lord for health insurance and Z-Packs!

Let's recap January's goals:

1. Read another book (or two) for pleasure.
I think I read about 5 books in January! It was so nice to have a little break from academic reading and do some reading for pleasure! I will be reviewing "A Cry from the Dust" soon! See my other book reviews here.

2. Send out 5 snail mail letters
I sent out nearly 15 birthday cards last month. I swear, half of the people we know were born in January! I also sent out 3 "just because" letters.

3. Continue keeping up with our chronological bible study.
I have failed miserably with this one. I'm a few weeks behind but still trying my best to keep up.

Here are my goals for February (see my full list of goals here):

1. Send out 5 snail mail letters.
2. Start taking vitamins daily.
3. Invest in a friend's dream.
I might need some help with this last one y'all. What is your dream?

What are your goals for the month? How do you keep yourself accountable to them?

  1. I love your goals. I love snail mail! It's so much fun to receive something like that in the mail. :) My dream is to help others. I am currently raising money for childhood cancer (and shaving my head for the cause with St. Baldrick's on March 7th! Yikes!). I also volunteer for Make-A-Wish and some local domestic violence organizations. :)

  2. Great goals as always. Way to go last month for so much snail mail! I read a LOT last month too... like 3 books per week. It's amazing how much reading I could get done when that's ALL there was to do! HA!

  3. You're a rock star! I've worked with domestic violence organizations in the past and it's some of the hardest, most rewarding work there is!

  8. I love seeing monthly goals. I may have to try this next month. Perhaps it will motivate me! You read 5 books in one month? That's awesome. I need to step up my reading game. I am currently reading This is Where I leave You and The Rosie Project. I love that you are trying to help someone with their dream....that is amazing!

  23. with my head hung, I failed completely at the chronological bible study. I restarted on January 1st. I really wish to keep with it this time. How does life get THAT out of the way. God should be number one...yet time and time I let the bible studies fall.

  24. I fail too. The chronological study is hard because it's easy to get behind, but I try not to get too hard on myself for missing a few days and just pick back up where I left off :) It seems to be working for me!
