Maty's Healthy Products
Ya'll know I'm a sickly little one. I wish that were a joke. I swear I get super sick once every 3 or 4 months. Dang allergies. I have tried everything under the sun to feel better once the sickness hits: essential oils, neti pots, medications, and other strange concoctions. Nothing works. So, the sickness is inevitable (it seems), at least until I get desperate and resort to antibiotics, which I hate doing. To survive, I MUST have the right products to get me through. Enter: Maty's Healthy Products.

Maty's creates great products like all natural vapor rub and organic cough syrup. I love how committed Maty's is to the quality of their products- it's definitely something hard to come by these days. The company was started by a mom that wanted something safe for her child, which I think says a lot about the heart of the company. They are even USDA certified, meaning they went through a lengthy process to get their product certified as organic. Being certified organic also means their non-GMO, pretty cool right?

Last time I was sick, the all natural vapor rub was a life-saver for sleeping at night. It relieved my cough and congestion and allowed me to sleep through the night without heavy cold meds. And let me tell you- that's a tough challenge. I also like that the vapor rub is petroleum and paraben free. It makes me feel much more comfortable about putting it on my skin. I've also heard it makes a great addition to a hot bath, which I'm looking forward to trying!

The cough syrup includes only a few ingredients. When I tried to search the ingredients for Vick's Vapor Rub, I came up with different information depending on the site. Yikes! For those of you with kids, it's even safe for kids 2 and older!

Since my cough was on its way out when my products arrived, I got creative with the cough syrup so I could still give it a honest review. The first thing I noticed was the smell, SO GOOD. It has hints of clove, honey, lemon, and cinnamon- yum. This sounds weird, but I just HAD to taste it. There's no way this is cough syrup. It tastes AMAZING.

To give it a try, I added it to some tea. Stay with me here. It's similar to when I add essential oils to my tea, and I love that it has the consistency of honey! I've also heard others put it in their yogurt or even on pancakes. Who knew?! I guess it makes sense given the all natural ingredients! Think about it: your food can also be your medicine. Wow, right? I'm looking forward to trying this the next time I'm sick (I never thought I would say that but it's THAT GOOD).

You can find Maty's products in stores near such as CVS, Bed Bath & Beyond, Raley's, Food City, Smith's, and Fry's!
